Hello and welcome to my private English class!
I am a graduate professor in the Inclusive Education program at McGill University. I also trained at Concordia University as an English as a Second Language teacher a few years later. I also received my Master of Adult Education in Teaching English as a Second Language from Brock University in Ontario. I have been teaching for 20 years now. I have worked with adults and children of all ages over the years, and I still love teaching and the whole experience that goes with it.
I have had the opportunity to attend many school boards and community centers, and I have taught English to French-speaking elementary and secondary students, as well as adults.
Learning a new language can be difficult and frustrating at times, but with my approach and teaching style, it should be a great experience no matter what.
I use a variety of media and materials in my teaching, aiming to stimulate all of your senses. It is amazing how a rich sensory experience will accelerate learning and improve retention of course material.
Here are some examples of materials and methods you can expect to encounter:
▸ Special pronunciation and vocabulary courses
▸ English conversation course
▸ PDF files and text documents
▸ Quiz
▸ Audio recordings
▸ Images and videos
▸ Articles and news
▸ Test models
▸ Flashcards
▸ Homework to do at home
▸ And much more!
You are always welcome to my class!
